The government is planning to charge employers £1,000 a year for each migrant that they employ in skilled areas - reduced to £364 for small or charitable organisations and with an exemption for PhD-level jobs and international students switching from student visas to working visas. The new charge will be introduced in April 2017. Maybe this will change depending what happens on the 23rd June…
